Sports Unit
When students are physically fit, they will achieve more academically. Sport develops a sense of friendliness among the students and develops their team spirit. It helps students to develop mental and physical toughness.
Our College puts maximum focus on sports activities and encourages students to participate and excel in a variety of games and sports that are organized regularly in our college. The College provides facilities for Athletics, kabaddi, Cricket, Football etc. Our students have participated in State level, National and Inter University level tournaments and made the college proud .The College conducts extra-murals where teams from different colleges/institutions are invited to participate.
The Students’ Union with the loving guidance of a committee of teachers, provides effective leadership in various activities geared to bringing out the best in the students by organizing these sports.
They also actively organize a Student’s vs Teacher’s friendly football match this year for showing the love and relationship between teachers and students.

The following students received prizes in different events. They had increased the fame of our college in the field of sports:
- Subhrakanti Hazra has secured 1st place in the long jump event in District level competition and he has also secured 1st place in both 100 m and 200 m event in District level in 2019.
- Our Men’s Kabaddi team has secured 1st position in Vidyasagar University Inter college Kabaddi Championship in 2017 .
- Subhrakanti Hazra has secured 2nd position in both long jump and 100 meter event in Vidyasagar University level in 2019.

Cultural Unit
Cultural activities is preparing students for real life and strengthening their personal skills. Cultural activities not only help students to identify themselves with the college, but also assist students to develop themselves in a desired field and also improve skills such as organizational, presentation, leadership and interpersonal communication.
The cultural side of our College provides numerous opportunities for students to get involved, have fun, showcase their talents, and compete among the students in a variety of competitions.

Common Room
The college has two Common Rooms, separately for boys and girls. The Girls’ Common Room and the Boys’ Common Room is situated at the ground floor of the old building. Both common rooms have been developed with such indoor games facilities as carom, chess, cards, etc. There are books, magazines and party games as well as wireless internet in both common-rooms, looked after by a female and a male attendant respectively. Every student can avail of the services provided in the Common Rooms. It is a great place for all students to go and chat and just generally relax.
